Create freely.
Don’t redistribute.
This licence explains how assets downloaded from Pictlore may be used in personal, commercial and client projects.
You can use Pictlore assets in personal and commercial creative projects, including products you sell. You cannot resell, redistribute or give away the original downloadable asset itself.
Commercial use is allowed
You may use assets downloaded from Pictlore in personal and commercial projects.
This includes uses such as websites, presentations, advertising, social media, marketing materials, client work, printed materials and other creative projects.
Products for sale are allowed
You may incorporate a Pictlore asset into a finished product that you sell.
Examples can include posters, invitations, books, printed products, clothing, websites, templates and other finished creative designs.
The Pictlore asset must be incorporated into a larger finished design or product rather than being offered as the original standalone downloadable asset.
Do not redistribute the source asset
You may not sell, share, redistribute or give away a Pictlore asset as a standalone downloadable file.
This applies whether the asset is distributed for free or for payment.
- Selling the original PNG as your own digital asset.
- Uploading the asset to another stock-image, asset-library or download website.
- Sharing the original downloadable file with other people.
- Redistributing a substantially unchanged version of the asset as a standalone asset.
Client work is allowed
You may use Pictlore assets when creating work for clients.
The asset may form part of the completed work you deliver to your client, provided the original standalone asset is not redistributed as a reusable asset library file.
Your licence continues after cancellation
If you cancel your Pictlore membership, you may continue using assets that you downloaded while your membership was active.
Those previously downloaded assets may continue to be used in projects permitted by this licence.
An inactive membership does not provide access to download additional Pictlore assets.
Ownership
Downloading a Pictlore asset gives you permission to use that asset under this licence. It does not transfer ownership of the asset or its copyright to you.
You may not claim that you created or own the original Pictlore asset itself.
