Terms for using Pictlore

1. Using Pictlore

You may browse the public library without an account. Certain features, including protected downloads and saved favourites, may require you to create and sign into an account.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity carried out through your account.

2. Membership

A paid Pictlore membership provides access to downloadable assets while the membership remains active.

Memberships may be offered on monthly or annual billing plans. Pricing and the applicable billing period are shown before purchase.

Unless cancelled, subscriptions may renew automatically according to the billing interval selected at checkout.

3. Payments

Payments and subscription billing are processed through Stripe.

Pictlore stores subscription identifiers and membership status needed to provide access, but does not store full payment card numbers in its own application database.

4. Cancellation

You may manage or cancel your subscription through the membership management area available from your Pictlore account.

When a subscription is scheduled for cancellation, access may continue until the end of the applicable paid billing period.

Refund and cancellation rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law remain unaffected by these Terms.

5. Asset licence

Downloaded assets are licensed rather than sold.

The permitted and prohibited uses of Pictlore assets are described in the Pictlore Licence.

6. Previously downloaded assets

Assets downloaded while your membership was active may continue to be used after cancellation, subject to the Pictlore Licence.

Cancellation does not provide a continuing right to download new assets.

7. Prohibited activity

You must not misuse the Pictlore service, attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with the site, use another person's account without permission or redistribute protected asset files contrary to the Pictlore Licence.

8. Availability and changes

Pictlore may update, improve, replace or remove parts of the service and library over time.

Temporary interruptions may also occur for maintenance, security or technical reasons.

9. Intellectual property

Pictlore and its original assets, branding and site content remain protected by applicable intellectual property rights.

Permission to download or use an asset does not transfer ownership of the underlying copyright.

10. Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict rights that applicable consumer law does not allow us to exclude.

11. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated as Pictlore develops. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
